Ode to Moms
I honor moms everywhere by sharing with you a lovely note from my friend, Mary.
"I had been holding your Christmas gift, your mother's linens, in a kind of sacred state since you gave them to me. I've been taking care of a dear friend who is gravely ill, serving him meals on an old but lovely silver tray with placemats. One day, having run out of clean ones, I thought it would be perfect to use one of your mom's, thinking if not now...when?"
Mary, my mom would be especially delighted that you used her linens on a silver tray, stylish wench that she was. Joy It On, honey.
And to all moms, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! You are loved.
